This position serves customers by selling products, meeting customer needs, soliciting and obtaining orders, interpreting and explaining the technical characteristics of products. Essential qualifications require a high school diploma and preferably two to four years of college, three to five years of experience in the sales of interior and exterior stone products and/or the installation of such products, and outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Position responsibilities include general office work, greeting customers, handling of phone inquiries, organizing files, clerical support tasks, scheduling appointments, writing copy, proofreading, basic bookkeeping, calculating and checking to make sure payment amounts and records are correct. Essential qualifications require a high school diploma and preferably two years of college, one to three years years of relevant experience, and good customer service and communication skills.
Typical duties include cutting, grinding, carving, sand blasting, engraving and completion of other related product manufacturing and finishing functions of stone, cut stone, decorative, artistic and ornamental products. Essential qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, one to three years of relevant experience, ability to read blueprints and/or specifications, experience using computerized manufacturing equipment.
Counter Top Fabricator
Typical duties include cutting, grinding, carving, polishing, sealing of marble and granite decorative, artistic and ornamental inside products. Essential qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, one to three years of relevant experience, ability to read blueprints and/or specifications, experience using computerized manufacturing equipment.
Counter Top Installer
Responsible for the installation of slid surface, quartz, and granite counter tops and sinks to include all prep work, installation to industry standards, cleaning the work area after installation, and promoting a positive customer experience. Essential qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, one to three years of relevant experience, good communication skills and customer service skills.
Yard and Quarry
Typical duties include but not limited to moving and storing material/product, maintaining the yard, loading customers’ purchased products, and miscellaneous other yard activities. Typical duties in the quarry include but are not limited to removing muck and mud from rock surfaces, chipping irregularities from stone, assisting with loading stone, and other related quarry activities. Essential qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, one year experience desirable, ability to work in various outdoor elements, and the ability to read and understand verbal instructions.
Using manual and/or computer assisted drawing software to convert designs into technical drawings that exhibit detail and specifications for manufacture and installation of stone and granite products. Essential qualifications require a two year associate’s degree, one to three years of experience, experience with CAD software and processes, and good communication skills. Professional certification is highly desirable.
