Drafting
Our outstanding drafting department serves architects, builders, masonry contractors and homeowners, by providing design options and producing scaled and fully-detailed drawings for fabrication and installation.They also provide assistance in the field when needed. Lang Stone operates with a state of the art computer-assisted design program (CAD), and will take your sketch or architectural rendering and produce exact, detailed drawings showing the interactions with other on-site trades and field conditions. From the simplest of fireplaces to the most intricate building entrance, our trained staff specializes in drafting for the fabrication and use of stone products. Each project is drawn with attention to detail and production/installation efficiencies in mind.

Quarry
The Lang Stone quarry department is dedicated to producing a wide variety of the highest quality landscape and building veneer stones from Ohio limestone and sandstones deposits. The production of these local products allows Lang Stone to stock (or have readily available) the types, colors, and styles of stone in demand from our local market.

Thin Wall,Webb Wall and Flagstone are all quarried, handselected, and palletized by size and use.These products are used in producing the beautiful dry-laid landscape walls so prevalent in the midwest. Flagging is used for paving or stepping stones. Stone slabs are extracted from these various quarries and selected for use as landscape accent stones or for splitting stock. Landscape accent slabs are palletized, shipped to the sales yard and available for customer selection (they are used for accent pieces, steps, boulders or stacked for walls).

The splitting stock is further graded while running through the hydraulic stone splitter. The thickest pieces are palletized for split slabs, the thinner pieces (under 5”) are split for cut drywall. This product, split in 8” widths and random lengths, is palletized by thickness. When stacked with care, it produces a beautiful landscape wall. The end cuts to all of these split products are further processed to become split veneer, a masonry product to veneer the exterior of houses, buildings, and fireplaces.

Dimensional Stone
From the simplest of stock products (keystones, caps, hearths, and sills) to the most detailed and complex handcutting and carving, Lang Stone has been Central Ohio’s leader in dimensional stone for five generations.

We assist architects, designers, contractors, builders, and homeowners every step of the way: from the early planning stages through fabrication process and delivery to the project site.We are unique in our ability to produce product for the smallest of orders to the largest of projects (including university buildings, churches and commercial structures).

Granite & Marble
Our Granite & Marble department supplies, fabricates and installs the finest natural stone products from around the world. We maintain a large inventory of select products for customer viewing/selection and prompt production/installation. We’ve earned our reputation for high quality finished products, ontime installation and complete customer satisfaction.

Althought we specialize in custom kitchen granite countertops, we are also known for our production/installation of vanities, tub decks, bar tops and fireplace surrounds.

Our staff provides the most up-to-date fabrication and installation techniques (using state-of-the-art automated equipment) to insure quality and consistency. Our touch-screen computerized sawing operation guarantees accuracy. Our CNC computer-operated router produces efficient and accurate radius and free-form cutting (for bowl cut outs or round tops). We also feature automated edging and bull-nosing machines to cut and polish detail edges on straight tops.

Our expert staff will take customers from the planning and estimating phases through product selection and field measuring. Our policies and procedures insure the accurate installation of all stone tops.

Yard/Delivery
Whether you are picking up material, or having it delivered, you can count on Lang Stone. Our Yard Staff is here to assist with the loading of palletized and bulk materials. Should you need your order delivered we are equipped with a fleet of multi-dimensional vehicles to meet even difficult placement needs.

Our trucks are equipped with forklifts to place stone exactly where it is needed. These trucks are used for palletized material, as well as 3,000 pound (bagged) bulk aggregates and can carry up to 15 tons of material. Best of all, the truck never leaves the street. Our dump trucks deliver bulk stone and aggregates in quantities up to 20 tons.We also deliver product via Boom Truck. This vehicle is ideal for construction site and curbside delivery.

Our yard and delivery staff is here to provide prompt service and our superior delivery equipment allows us to deliver your order on time, even at hard to reach job sites. Plus, you can count on same-day or next-day delivery whenever possible.
