and Gravels provide color and texture with dramatic effect.
Lang Stone stocks a wide variety of decorative aggregates from
sources around the United States and across North America
(Canada and Mexico). We stock materials in demand and
continuously source new and exciting gravels for innovative
design effects. We also stock a large variety of crushed aggregates
for specific construction applications.
Definitions:
Aggregates - an all-encompassing term that includes loose
gravel, washed pebbles and crushed stones in a wide variety of
shapes and sizes.
Gravel - fragments of stone coarser than sand.
Washed Gravel - denotes rounded stones, worn smooth by
rivers and streams. These are typically dredged from river bottoms
or similar deposits.
Base - any of a number of crushed stones capable of being
compacted into a suitable, stable base under pavers, foundations
and driveways.
Packaging:
All aggregates, packaged in bulk, are available for pick up at our
yard. Lang delivery options include: dump loads of up to 22 tons,
or our Bulk Bag, a cubic yard bag capable of holding up to 3,000
pounds. Minimum quantities may apply to aggregate deliveries.
