Lang Stone has a large variety of beautiful granites to choose from. The

Granite Uses
The uses of granite are almost endless. Kitchen counter tops are the
most typical places to use granite but certainly not the only place
granite can be used. Fireplace surrounds and hearths are a great use of
granite due to its' high heat tolerance. Granite bathroom vanities, shower
seats and tub surrounds are also very practical places to use granite.
Outdoor patio tabletops, coffee table tops, bar tops and conference or
desktops are also beautiful in granite. As you can see, the possibilities are
only limited to your imagination with the use of granite.
Measuring and Installation Process
We have the best measuring and install crews in the business. To get
started all you have to do is provide us with a rough sketch of the area
you want quoted with the approximate dimensions. We will go over all
the options with you and provide a quote. After you accept the quote
and payment is discussed, we will send out one of our skilled measuring
staff to get the fabrication measurement of your granite top. We use a
digital measuring device to get the exact dimensions of the area being
measured. You would be required to have your new sink, faucet, cook
top, etc. on site prior to the measurement so we can figure out the
exact cut out sizes needed as well. We then bring the information we
gather back to our shop and begin fabrication of your stone. You also
have the option of viewing the actual slabs that you will be getting prior
to the fabrication. Generally 2 weeks after your measure date our install
crew will come out to install your new granite tops!
Granite Information
Granite is quarried from all over the world and comes in many different
colors and finishes. The polishing of the face of the slabs is done
primarily at the quarry but there are a few changes that can be made
here at our shop. Granite can come in honed, brushed, and flamed
finishes, just to name a few. We offer many different edge profiles as well.
The size of the slab varies and different thickness is also available. Most
of the granite we stock comes in 3cm thickness (1-1/4" thick).
