As the name implies, Split Veneer is stone that has been
mechanically split to the approximate size preferred for masonry
walls. Pre-splitting reduces waste and labor on the job site.
Characteristics of a Split Veneer installation are horizontal course
lines (or bed lines) and generally a formal, ordered appearance. A
random pattern can also be used for a more informal pattern.
